little elephant cake!

i made this mini version of my pink lace cake with a cute figurine to match the super adorable baby elephant invitation by style me gorgeous! i think it all turned out quite cute!

tegan's baby shower

i have been looking forward to this baby shower for ages! tegan first contacted me in may to start organising her baby shower, i knew that the time would go fast- but not this fast! tegan wanted a babushka themed baby shower and since the sex was unkown she wanted the colour scheme to be yellow, peach and cornflour blue. nathalie made a very cute custom design and i put together the rest of the sweets and a tea party to match- i think it all turned out so so so sweet!

a very sweet gift!

i delivered this very sweet gift to the hospital today for a new baby girl! oh how cute!

it has been a very busy few weeks and i have heaps and heaps of parties to share with you soon! i am in between internet connections at the moment so i am slowly catching up on emails and blogging...  

cute bunny baby shower cake!

it was so nice to get back to work and last week i made some super cute cakes for some super sweet customers! i love my job!

i made this sweet bunny cake for victoria's baby shower, she wanted a cute bunny cake based on my magic bunny cake and in a green and blue colour scheme... i paniced for a second about how i can change the original design that much and then i told myself- dont worry naomi, you are an expert in cute! so i made it pop out of grass instead and i really love how it turned out!

sweet as honey baby shower!

i put together this very sweet baby shower on the weekend, it was based on our sweet as honey theme and it looked so pretty in this beautiful house. i didnt have much time to take pics but the sweets included beehive vanilla cake, yoyo cookies, meringues, cupcakes, lemon meringue tarts, honeycomb, milk and honey drinks and ice tea. there was also a hint of savoury with a delicious cheese arrangement....yum!!

baby shower

here are some pics of a baby shower that i made some sweets for the other weekend. host, andrea, put together the most gorgeous table for the tea party and i especially loved the flowers in the watering can- so so so sweet!

bubblegum and ice cream soda!

this was my dream party! ... except for the weather. you probably cant tell from the photos, but on this lovely spring day it was FREEZING with gale force winds! lucky theres blue tack!

here are just a couple of pics for now of the bubblegum party i helped nathalie throw for her son. oh and i'll tell you about the cupcake flavours i made- peanut butter and jelly, lemon cream pie, chocolate cherry cola and bubblegum (ofcourse), yum! and the main cake was cookies and cream! there was also icecream sodas, sherbert, plenty of bubblegum and lollies! i will share some more details soon...!

afternoon tea party!

the other day i helped nathalie put together a tea party for her friend. the sweets list included raspberry and coconut cupcakes, french vanilla macarons, vanilla cake with buttercream icing, turkish delight and sugar cookies. some of the cute details included poppies in milk glass vases, doillies, tea cups and saucers, cake plates and stands all sourced from my local antique store.

unfortunately i didnt get many good photos- the afternoon shade was very blue and glarey... :( but it turned out really cute and would be so perfect for a bridal kitchen tea or baby shower!
next week is a BIG weddding week- i have 3 wedding cakes to do and a wedding magazine shoot- wish me luck!
