a simple, but stunning (i think!) wedding cake. this design was about the soft colours and the delicate sugar flowers.

eskimo party!

 

earlier in the year i made this super cute igloo cake for leanne from sweet style. the occasion being the 14th anniversary of the design studio eskimo... hence the igloo... but it also coincided with valentines day... hence the heart theme- soo sweet! i also made some really cute little heart cookies and my favourite- lemon meringue tarts. here are a few pics of the gorgeous table leanne arranged, i think it is one of my favourites ever- i really love the use of the fluro pink. the party is featured in the current issue of fete, out now!

my peony and doily design is definitely my most popular, it is just the most perfectly sweet wedding cake- i think! i always enjoy making it in different colour combinations- i liked this black and white version- very classy!

harper's bazaar bridal special- out now!

earlier in the year i designed this cake for justine cullen, editor of shop til you drop  magazine, and i am pretty sure it is my favourite cake so far... anyway, the new harper's bazaar brides magazine is out now and features justine's gorgeous garden wedding along with a little piece of advice from myself in the style section.... !!

inpired by... greece!

 

i was so excited when i was asked to make a grecian inspired cake, i have had this design in my head since i visited samos island earlier this year. i was so inspired by all of the shades of blue and aqua and all of course all of the beautiful hydrangeas! the cake design ended up being quite simple, but i like it like that... everything was just so beautiful and simple there... *sigh*

and i have been sighing over this lovely pic in my pintrest collection for a while now...

little elephant cake!

i made this mini version of my pink lace cake with a cute figurine to match the super adorable baby elephant invitation by style me gorgeous! i think it all turned out quite cute!
