too cute! this adorable christening cake was based on my bastian bird cake and the super cute baby elephant invitation design by style me gorgeous!
i also made these favour cookies to match- even after making 120 of them their cuteness still made me so happy!

Wandin Hunter Valley open day

 

it was super lovely to work with lily and bramwell again at the Wandin Hunter Valley open day... again! i whipped up this pretty yellow, white and cream display table with the help of lily and bramwell's table and props. it was a really lovely day- it was lovely meeting so many new brides, the other vendors and it was lovely working with wandin again- it is such a gorgeous venue with fantastic food, wine and staff.

i just realised that i have never posted this pretty dessert table that i made over a year ago for the super sweet corrine and brad, i also arranged a cute cheese table with things that i picked up from the farmers market that morning...!

shop update

so i havent really had any shop updates because i havent had any news... things have been taking alot lot lot lot lot longer then i ever imagined... *sigh* we have the da and design sorted but we just cant actually start any work because umm the suspended ceiling isnt actually suspended.. wonderful! well it isnt the end of the world, the main issue is that it is a strata building so on one hand we dont have to pay for it all but instead we also cant just call someone up to demolish it we have to go through the whole painful, extreeeemly long process of reporting, quotes, owners corporation meetings, levies, insurance claims.. and hopefully one day it actually just gets fixed... will let you know as soon as we can start work!

oh the ruffles!

oh the ruffles! this is my first attempt at doing a ruffle cake, i have been turning people down because i dont like to do other peoples designs.. buuut... i think i was able to make it my own ..  it turned out really pretty and I couldnt stop sighing over it! it was for a kitchen tea but think it would also suit a wedding, engagement or christening.. and it would also suit a simple topper like a little heart on a stick style... anyway i will be up for ruffles from now on!
