here are some new designs that i worked on recently, this time it is all about the flowers!! i love *trying* to replicate my favourite flowers with sugar, they take alot of time and patience and a very delicate hand... after 4 years of decorating i am still working on these things!

last weekend i was lucky enough to be asked by the lovely catherine and nhan from lily and bramwell to be a part of their stand at the newcastle city hall bridal expo! it was my first expo and it was alot of fun, our stand was very cute and we had an amazing response! thanks so much to everyone that came by and thanks so much to catherine and nhan for inviting me!! (how cute is that pic of them?!)

newcastle town hall wedding expo- this sunday!!

bastian's little bird christening cake!

 

i made this cute little cake for my friend's god son's christening! i was technically still on holidays but i just couldnt say no, i love making cakes for my friends and i dont often get the chance to make cakes just for fun any more... anyway, i love how this little one turned out! the colour scheme and cute little dots around the bottom tier were inspired by bastian's invitation designed by his clever mum, suzanna.

today i had the pleasure of meeting catherine and nhan from the event hire company lily and bramwell! i had SO MUCH fun looking through their AMAZING collection of furniture, tableware and decorative items, i could not believe my eyes finding such a treasure trove of props in newcastle!! i am so happy to have found them, they fill such a humungous void of stylish event hire in newcastle and the hunter valley, they also service sydney!

i hope everyone had a lovely christmas!! here is just a little summary of some of the christmas sweets that i made this year!

sweet little christmas cupcakes!

i made these for a corporate order as gifts for their clients, i think they are just so pretty and such a lovely gift! simple, sweet and so, so, so delicious!

santa cookies!

i designed these sweet little santa cookies to match this ridiculously cute christmas note set by imprintables... after making what felt like a gazillion of them they started to loose their cuteness... but i couldnt stay mad at them for long- they are just too adorable!

i was so excited when i was asked to make a grecian inspired cake, i have had this design in my head since i visited samos island earlier this year. i was so inspired by all of the shades of blue and aqua and all of course all of the beautiful hydrangeas! the cake design ended up being quite simple, but i like it like that... everything was just so beautiful and simple there... *sigh*

and i have been sighing over this lovely pic in my pintrest collection for a while now...
